Educational Qualifications for NIMHANS Bengalaru Counsellor, Supervisor, Medical Officer Recruitment
Candidates interested
to work for NIMHANS must possess the following essential qualifications:
1. Counsellor: Must have secured a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Social Work or
Psychology with work-experience in the similar field.
2. Supervisor: Must be a Post-Graduate in Public Health/Social Sciences/Social
Work/Psychology with minimum 2 years of work-experience as Health Sector.
3. Medical Officer: Must have secured a MBBS Degree and possess
some experience working with Patients dealing with addiction problems.
4. Junior Assistant: Must have secured B.Com with minimum 1 years
of work-experience in Accounting.
5. Data Entry Operator: A graduate with at least one year experience
Date Entry Management.
6. Attender: Must have passed SSC/10th class or it’s equivalent.

Applicants present for Walk-in Interview will be put through
a Written Test based on syllabus as per the educational standards prescribed
for each post. Candidates must carry necessary documents/CV to produce during
Document verification.
Probationary Period
Selected candidates will have to serve the respective Health
Centre for a period of one year from the date of appointment subject to
extension up to 3 years on the basis of
his/her performance.
