Age limits for Gujarat High Court English & Gujarati Stenographer Posts
Candidates applying for Stenographer Post must not exceed
the upper age of 35 years and below 21 years as reckoned on 31-08-2018. Upper
Age Relaxation applicable as per the rules, refer the official notification for
the same.
Educational Qualifications for Gujarat High Court English & Gujarati Stenographer Recruitment
Candidates interested
to work at any of the Subordinate Court as Stenographer must be a Graduate in
any discipline from a recognized University/Institution. Those applying for
English Stenographer Jobs must have 100 w.p.m. short-hand speed while
for Guajarati Stenographer, 75 w.p.m. is requisite. Moreover, basic
computer applications and sufficient knowledge of English, Gujarati & Hindi
Language are one of the essentials.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed on a proposed salary of
Rs 19,900/- to 63,200/-
Selection Process for Gujarat High Court English & Gujarati Stenographer Jobs
Applicants contending for any of the above post will be
assessed on the basis of Skill Test & Viva-Voce Test. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of combined score of both, however, 25% marks is the minimum requirement in Viva-Voce Test.

Viva-Voce
Test aims at evaluating a candidate’s Mental Alertness, General Knowledge,
Current affairs, Clear and logical exposition, Skills, Ethics, Power of
assimilation, Power of communication, Character and Analytical ability,
Knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi& English Language. It will be conducted for 40 Marks.
