UP Pre Metric Scholarship Form: The government of Uttar Pradesh has released notification for applying scholarships for the Pre-metric students of their state. The Pre-metric students are those who are studying in the classes of 9^th and 10^th. These scholarships are allotted by the Social Welfare
Department, the State Government of Uttar Pradesh. The students who belong to the state of Uttar Pradesh can only avail the UP Pre Metric scholarship. In order to encourage students and help the backward class students and the students who cannot afford the education, the UP Pre Metric Scholarships have come into existence. The UP Pre Metric Scholarships are Merit Basis and need basis of the students who want to continue their education. Given below are the details regarding eligibility criteria, important dates, documents required and application procedure.

List of UP Pre Metric Scholarship forms for the Different categories:

The UP Pre Metric Scholarships are given to different categories of students based on Merit.

·         Pre Metric Scholarship for SC/ST and General Candidates.

·         UP Pre Metric scholarships for Minorities of Uttar Pradesh state.

·         UP Pre Metric scholarships for OBC students of Uttar Pradesh state.

The eligible students can apply for the UP Pre Metric scholarships from July to September. However, the period can be changed according to the wishes of scholarship provider.

Important Dates for UP Pre Metric Scholarships Apply Online:

Last date to submit scholarship application form online: 10-10-2019.

Time line to correct the Scholarship application form: 16-10-2019 to 25-10-2019.

Disbursement of Scholarship amount: 26-01-2020.

Eligibility criteria for UP Pre Metric Scholarship:

The main eligibility criteria to apply for UP Pre Metric Scholarship is that the student should be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh or a domicile of UP. The family annual income should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh from all sources. The students belonging to their respective category shall apply for the respective scholarship form.

How to apply for UP Pre Metric scholarship Online 2019:

The eligible students shall apply for the Pre Metric Scholarship through the official website of UP Government Scholarships. The official website is UP Government Scholarship and Fee Reimbursement online system. If the student is new, then the student should opt for new registration. After registering, login with the registration number, date of birth and password. Read all the instructions carefully and fill the online scholarship application form. After filling, submit the form. After submission of the application form, upload the required documents in the prescribed form. After submitting online form, the students shall take a hard copy of the application along with the hard copies of supporting documents and submit to their respective educational institutions.

·         Caste certificate

·         Residence proof like aadhar card, ration card, voter id etc.,

·         Student ID proof
