UP Post Metric Scholarship: The state government of Uttar Pradesh has invited applications from the eligible Post Metric students for scholarships. The interested candidates can avail the scholarship by applying online through the official website of scholarship.up.nic.in. These scholarships are given by the Social Welfare Department, State Government of
Uttar Pradesh. This scholarship is available only to the students who belong to the state of Uttar Pradesh. The main aim of the UP Post Metric Scholarships is to encourage students of backward classes, the students who cannot afford education. The students who have merit and the need to continue their studies can only avail UP Post Metric scholarship. The following are the different types of forms available to different categories of UP Post Metric students

·       For SC/ST/General students

·       Minorities of Uttar Pradesh State

·       OBC Students of Uttar Pradesh

The interested and eligible students can apply online for UP Post Metric scholarships from July to September. The application period may be changed according to the wishes of Scholarship provider.

Eligibility Criteria for UP Post Metric Online Scholarship:

The student should be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh. It is the main eligibility criteria of Uttar Pradesh. Or the student should be a Domicile of Uttar Pradesh. The certificates providing the proof shall be there while applying for the UP Post Metric Scholarship. The family annual income shall not exceed Rs. 2 lakh for UP Post Metric Scholarship.

·       Bank pass book of the student

The applied students can check their application status online. The new applicant as well as the renewal applicant can check the application status through the dedicated online system. The new applicants can track the new application status. The existing users can check their previous application status.
