Educational and Desirable Qualification for HQ Eastern Command Recruitment:

Stenographer: The candidate must have passed 12^th or matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. The candidate must possess Skill test norms. He must be able to take dictation for 10 mts @ 80 words per minute, Transcription- 50 mts English, 65 mts Hindi on computer.

Messenger, Gardner, Barber, Safaiwala and Mazdoor: The candidate should have passed 12^th or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution for the above mentioned posts. The candidates must be conversant in trades and should have one year experience in the respective trades.

Cook: The candidate must have passed 12^th or matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. The candidates must be conversant in trades and should have one year experience in the respective trades.

Pay Scale for HQ Eastern Command Posts,Kolkata:

Stenographer: The candidate will receive a monthly pay of Rs. 5,200- 20,200/- with G.P Rs. 2,400/-

Messenger, Gardner, Barber, Safaiwala and Mazdoor: The candidate will receive a monthly pay of Rs. 5,200 -20,200/- with G.P Rs. 1,800/-

Cook: The candidate will receive a monthly pay of Rs. 5,200 -20,200/- with G.P Rs.1,900/-

Age criteria for Indian Army Jobs of Steno, Messenger:

The lower age limit is 18 years.

The upper age limit is 25 years.

Selection Process for HQ Eastern Command Recruitment:
