AIMA MAT February 2020 Application Form for Business Schools of Management Entrance Exam

MAT  Entrance Exam AIMA 2020: All India Management Association conducts MAT (Management Aptitude Test) for entrance in MBA. The Ministry of HRD, Government of India has referred MAT as a National Level Examination to enter in any of the Business Schools (B-Schools) in India. Any National or Inter-National B-School will consider the marks
scored in MAT as a base for their Admission in MBA and allied programs. Students can avail two mode of test for MBA Entrance exam. Either the Paper Based Test or Computer Based Test. There are two different dates given for both the MBA Entrance exam 2020. They are 16-02-2020 for Paper Based Test and 02-02-2020 for the students who opt for Computer Based Test. The students must possess any Graduate in their respective field. The students who are turning in their final year can also apply for the MBA Entrance Exam 2020. The student must be registered in the official website of AIMA for eligibility for MAT exam. The registration fee is Rs. 1400/- The last date for online registration for MBA entrance exam, MAT is 26-01-2020. After registration, the candidate will be given a registration number within 5 days from registration. Admit card for the MAT examination can be downloaded from the AIMA official website on or after 28-01-2020. The students can apply only through online.

Educational Qualification for MAT 2020:

The candidates who are Graduate or have equivalent Degree from any recognized Institute or University are eligible to apply for MBA Entrance Exam, MAT.

The students who are turning final year in degree may also apply for the MAT entrance exam 2020.

Mode of MAT Entrance Exam 2020:

AIMA specifies two modes for the MAT Entrance Test. One is Paper based test i.e., written examination. The other mode is Computer based test i.e., Online examination. Both the exams are conducted in different dates as given by AIMA. The student can opt any of the mode.

Date of written or offline examination: 16-02-2020.

Last date for online application: 28-01-2020.

Age criteria for MAT Examination, 2020: 

There is no age limit given by the Board of AIMA to appear for MAT entrance examination.

Exam Pattern for AIMA, MAT Entrance Exam:

Either in the online exam or paper based exam, the examination pattern will be the same. The total exam contains 200 MCQ’s (Multiple Choice Questions). There are total 5 sections in the exam. Each section contains 40 MCQ’s. The examination time will be 2 ½ hours. Each question carries 1 mark. There is negative marking of ¼ th mark also. The 5 sections in the MAT Entrance exam are given below:

1) Language Comprehension.

2) Intelligence and Critical Reasoning.

3) Data Analysis and Sufficiency.

4) Mathematical Skills.

5) Indian and Global Electronics.
