Age Limit For POWERGRID Corporation Of India Recruitment Notification 2019:

1. For Dip. Trainee in Electrical Stream the age should be 27 years for UR, 30 years for OBC(NCL) and 32 years for SC/ST.

2.For Civil Graduates  the age bar is 27 years for ST/UR, 30 years for OBC(NCL) and 32 years for SC.

3.For Electrical & Electronics Trainee the age limit is 27 yrs for UR/OBC/ST and 32 years for SC.

4.Age limit of 28 yrs is permitted for all categories for the post of Chemist.

5.Junior Electrical Technician Trainee, the age limitation is as same as mentioned for Diploma stream.

POWERGRID Pay Scale Details for  Various Trainee Recruitment Notification:

1.For the Trainees of Electrical, Civil & EC the stipend is Rs.6500/- per month. After successful completion of training they get the Pay Scale Range of between Rs.16000-35500/- with the post of Junior  Engineer  Gr-IV.

2. The Scale of Pay for Chemist is Rs.12500- 27500/-

3.For Jr. Technician Trainee (Electrical) the stipend per month is Rs.11000/-. On successful Completion of Training they will get a designation as Junior Technician in the pay scale of  11500 - 26000.

Educational Qualification for Various Diploma Graduates & Chemist:

1. Diploma Stream- Diploma in Electrical/Civil/EC Engineering from recognized Technical board/institute with 70% marks.

2. Chemist- Master Degree in Chemistry.

3.  Jr. Technician Trainee- Pass in ITI Electrician Trade from recognized Board/ Institute.

Selection Process for Technician & Chemist  Recruitment in Power Grid:

The Selection of the candidate is made through 2 different Stages of Process:

1. Written Test

2.Trade Test

2.Chemist & Jr. Technician - Rs.200/-
