using the Website of http://www.ntpc.co.in/ from 10th January, 2017 to 31st
January, 2017 up to 5.00 PM only. NTPC will recruit candidates for Executive
Trainee based on marks obtained in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)
- 2017. Based on this score, candidates will be shortlisted for Online Aptitude
Test. Based on the performance in this test, candidates will be further
shortlisted for Group Discussion (GD) round and Personal Interview round. All

As per Notification of National Thermal
Power Corporation Limited (NTPC), total Available Jobs are 120.
1. Mechanical-50 (UR-32, OBC-9, SC-6,
ST-3)
2. Electrical-40 (UR-23, OBC-4, SC-10,
ST-3)
3. Electronics-10 and
Instrumentation-10 (UR-17 OBC-1, SC-1, ST-1)
4. Civil-10 (UR-4, OBC-3, SC-2, ST-1)
Qualification for NTPC Engineering Executive Trainee Jobs:
1. Educational Qualification for candidates
must be full time bachelors degree in the discipline of either Mechanical or
Electrical or Electronics or Civil or Instrumentation with aggregate score of
greater than 65% of marks.
2. Candidates who are studying final year or
final semester are also eligible for these Vacancies.
3. Educational Qualification must be from an
Indian University or recognized Institute by AICTE or appropriate statutory
authority.
Age Limit for NTPC Executive Trainee Jobs Recruitment 2017:
Maximum age limit is 27 years as on the last
date of Online registration of Application forms i.e. 31st January, 2017.
Pay Scale in NTPC:
National Thermal Power Corporation Limited
(NTPC) will give Rs.24900/- to Rs.50500/- per month for selected candidates.
NTPC Recruitment 2017 for Executive Trainee Selection Process:
1. National Thermal Power Corporation
Limited (NTPC) will recruit candidates based on marks obtained in Graduate
Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) - 2017. Based on this score, candidates
will be shortlisted for Online Aptitude Test. Based on the performance in this
test, candidates will be further shortlisted for Group Discussion (GD) round
and Personal Interview round.
2. NTPC will give 85% weightage for GATE
2017 marks; 5% weightage for Group Discussion (GD) round and 10% weightage for
Interview marks.
3. Candidates if shortlisted for Interview
round, are need to bring their original score card of GATE 2017 as received
from GATE Organization, at the time of NTPC Interview round.
Application Fee for Executive Trainee Jobs in NTPC Recruitment:
General or Other Backward Classes (OBC)
category candidates have to pay the Application fee of Rs.150/- and SC, ST,
PWD, XSM category candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
