Pay Scale for 182 PET PL ASC Fireman, Driver Recruitment 2017:

Pay scale as for 7^th CPC for Fireman and Fire Fitter is Rs.5200 to 25200 with gp of Rs.1900/-.

Pay scale for Super Engine Driver is Rs.5200 to 25200 with gp of Rs.2000/-.

Educational Qualification for 182 PET PL ASC Fire Engine Driver, Fireman Recruitment 2017: 

For fireman posts: Candidate should pass 10^th standard and must be familiar with the use and maintenance of hose fittings and fire appliances, trailer pumps and foam branches.

For Fire Engine Driver posts: Matriculation/ 10^th pass is required and must have 3 years of experience in driving heavy vehicles.

For Fire Fitter posts: Required to pass 10^th standard from a recognized board.
For all the posts candidates must be physically fit for High Altitude Area.

Age Limits for Firemen, Driver 182 PET PL ASC Recruitment 2017: 

Age limits for all category candidates applying for these posts is 18 to 25 years. Age Relaxation is applicable for OBC (03 years), SC/ ST (05 years). For government employees upto 40 years of age relaxation is given. 

Indian Army MOD 182 Petroleum Platoon ASC Recruitment Selection Process: 

182 Petroleum Platoon ASC will be held in three stages.

1. Physical Fitness Test

2. Physical Endurance Test

3. Written test

1. Physical Measurements for Fireman and Fire Engine Driver:

a. Height without shoes- 165cms (concession of 2.5cms height allowed for members of schedule Tribes).

b. Chest (Unexpanded) – 81.5cms

c. Chest (On expansion) – 85cms

d. Weight -  50Kg (Minimum)

2. Physical Endurance Test:

(a). Fireman lift: Carrying a man of 65.5Kgs to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds.

(b), Long Jump: Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch landing on both feet.

(C). Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hands and feet.

3. Written test:

Written test will be conducted in Objective type and bilingual (i.e. Hindi and English) for 150 marks and the time duration is 2 hrs. Syllabus will be in Matriculation/10^th Standard Only.

Subjects for written test: General intelligence & Reasoning (25 Marks, Numerical aptitude (25 Marks), General English (50 Marks), General Awareness (50 Marks).
