Qualifications for SSA Assam LP / UP Assistant Teachers Govt Jobs Recruitment 2016:

Assistant Teacher for Lower Primary School-50% marks in HSc or Inter or 10+2 with LP TET/CTET and 2 years diploma in Elementary Education or 4 years B.El.Ed

Assistant Teacher for Upper Primary School-50% in Graduation/B.Sc with UP TET/CTET and 2 years elementary education or 1 year B.ED.

As limits as on 01-01-2017 General candidates age limits are 18-43 years and for SC, ST (P), ST (H) & PH candidates 18-48 years.
