Age Limits for TANGEDCO Recruitment 2016:

For the posts of Junior Assistant/Administration, Junior Assistant/Accounts, Junior Auditor Tester Chemical age limits are 18 to 30 years for General Candidates and there is no age limits for reserved candidates.

For the posts Steno-Typist and Typist age limits for general candidates 18-30 years and for SC/ST candidates 18-35 years and for BC/MBC candidates 18-32 years.

Educational Qualifications for TANGEDCO Recruitment 2016:

For the post of Tester Chemical- B.Sc Chemistry

For the post of Junior Assistant/ Administration-Any Degree

For Junior Assistant-B.Com

For Junior Auditor-BA or B.Com or B.Sc

For the posts of Steno-Typist and Typist the candidates must have qualified the X Std/S.S.L.C. and must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and Shorthand.

i) Higher/Senior Grade in Tamil and English (OR)

ii)Higher/Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English (OR)

iii)Higher/Senior Grade in English and Lower/Junior Grade in Tamil.

Those who are applying for the posts of Steno Typist, Typist they must have the Computer knowledge certificate authorized by Tamilnadu Government.

Examination Fee for the TANGEDCO Recruitment of Steno-Typist and Junior Assistant:

For the candidates of OC, BCO, BCM, MBC/DC candidates examination fees is Rs. 500/- for all the other community Rs.250/- . The candidates have to pay this amount through the payment gateway using credit/debit card or net banking.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus for TANGEDCO Recruitment of Junior Assistant and Typist jobs:

TANGEDCO recruitment will be held based in two stages.

1. Written Examination

2. Personal Interview

Written Examination Pattern for TANGEDCO Recruitment 2016:

Written test will be conducted for 100 marks with two hours duration.

i) Part-I General Tamil /General English - 20 marks

ii)Part-II Aptitude & Mental Ability -20 marks

iii) Part-III General Studies -60 marks

Exam Syllabus for the posts of Junior Assistant/Administration, Junior Assistant/Accounts, Junior Auditor, Tester Chemical are purely degree standard only.

For the posts of Steno Typist, Typist posts exam syllabus will SSLC standard.
