For Hons./PG: 15947 Posts, For Work Education: 1019 Posts, For Physical Education: 1237 Posts

Required Qualifications for West Bengal Assistant Teachers SLST Recruitment 2016:

For the three disciplines candidate must have qualified Graduate and PG for required posts.

Must have the training certificate of B.ED/B.T/P.G.B.T/P.G.T/B.P.E.D.

Age limits for WBCSSC Assistant Teachers Recruitment 2016:

For all the posts minimum age limits are 20 years and maximum is 40 years.

For SC/ST candidates 5 years, For BC candidates 3 years and for PWD candidates 8 years of age relaxation is given.  

Examination Fees for West Bengal Asst Teachers SLST Exam:

For general and OBC candidates exam fee is Rs. 250/-

For SC/ST/PH candidates exam fee is Rs.80/-

Bank charges are Rs.5/-

The eligible candidates have to pay the exam fee through the bank chalana and update the same at the time of online examination.

Selection Mode for WB Assistant Teachers Recruitment 2016:

Selection for this recruitment will be held based on three stages.

1. A common state level selection test for 55 marks

2. Academic qualification and personal qualification for 35 marks

3. Personal Interview 10 marks

Written test will be conducted in English and Bengali.

Exam syllabus and Pattern for the West Bengal State Level Selection Test:

The written test will be conducted for the 55 marks with 55 questions each question carries one mark. No negative marking and duration is one hour.

For the candidates who having NCC and Sports certificates additional marks will be added to them.

Qualifying marks for written test:

For General candidates 22 Marks and for all the others 19 marks.
