IAF Airmen Selection For Group Y Sports Quota Jobs Recruitment Apply Now: Indian Air Force welcomes applications for selection as AIRMEN in group Y. IAF sports quota Airmen jobs require only unmarried outstanding sportsmen( only male INDIAN Citizens). IAF Group Y AIRMEN jobs requires educational qualification of 10^th + 12^th approved by the

central or state board of education. Secretary, Air Force Sports Control Board may shortlist the applications on the basis of the available vacancies.  The applications can be sent before 14-07-2017. Eligibility for Indian Air Force IAF Sports Quota Airmen Govt Jobs recruitment 2017:

Educational Qualification:

The interested candidates should have a minimum qualification of 10^th + 12^th as approved by the central or state board of education.

Sports Achievements:

The candidate should have participated in any of the junior/senior International meets. The current achievement in the sports meet will be given preference.

The candidate must have attainted at least fifth position in junior/senior national championship or Inter university championship. Current achievement will be given preference in the selection process.

NOTE: The candidates participated in National or International sportsmeet and achieved will have educational qualification relaxation.

Age criteria for IAF Sports Quota Airmen Jobs: 

The candidates who are interested to apply for Group Y Airmen jobs should have a Date of Birth between 28-12-1996 and 27-12-2000 (Both the days are inclusive).

Physical standards for the posts of IAF Group Y Airmen jobs:

Height: Minimum acceptable height 152.5 cms.

Chest: Minimum range of expansion 5 cm.

Weight: Proportionate to height and weight.

Pay and allowances for IAF Airmen Group Y jobs:

In the period of training, the candidates may receive a stipend of Rs. 11,400/-

After completion of training, a basic pay + D.A Rs.20,500/-

The payment may be extended up to Rs. 38,720/-

Selection procedure IAF Airmen Group Y jobs:

Generally, there will be two tests conducted by the IAF Airmen Service. They are physical fitness test, Medical fitness test.

Physical Fitness Test: 

There will be a run of 1.6 km to be completed within  7 min. Run completed before 6 min 30 sec will be awarded additional marks. After qualifying test-1,they can go to test-2.

20 squats	01 minute	02 minutes break will be given after completion of sit ups

  

Candidates who are qualified PFT test they are only called for the "SPORTS SKILL TRAILS".

Trials will be held at New Delhi only.
