Pay Scale for the post of Station Officer is Rs.Rs.9300 to Rs.
34800/- plus Rs.4200/-.
Fireman/ Driver Operator, Sub Officer is Rs.5200/- to 20200/- plus
GP Rs. 1900/ 2800/-.
Educational Qualifications:
Station
Officer, Sub Officer Jobs: Candidates must have qualified Degree with
science subject from UGC recognized University. Diploma in station officers/
Sub officers course of National Fire Service College, Nagpur
Fireman/ Driver operator: Applicant
should have passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent qualification.
Should have valid Heavy Motor Driving License with endorsement

Age limits

2017:
Fire Protection & Control Dept Lakshadweep Jobs Recruitment
2017 Selection will be held on the basis of following tests.
1. Physical Standards Test
2. Physical Endurance Test
3. Medical Standards
4. Driving Test (only for Fireman/ Driver operator)
5. Written Test
1. Physical
Measurements:
Height: 5.5
Chest: 32’’ (minimum expansion of 2’’)
2. Physical
Endurance Test:
High Jump: 132.20 cms
Long Jump: 457.20 cms
Shot put throw: 7264 gms (distance of 609.60 cm)
Rope climbing: 365.80 cms (only hand)
Pull up/ chin up: 08 times.
Race: 100 Mtrs in 14 sec
Race: 1500 Mtrs in 05 min and 45 sec
3. Driving Test: Driving Heavy goods
vehicles or Heavy passenger vehicles
This test is only for Fireman/ Driver
Operator.
4. Written
Examination:
Written test consists of 100 multiple choice objective type
questions, each carrying one mark. The time duration is 120 minutes.
Final merit list will be made on the
basis of written examination marks.
