up the Vacancies of Postman/ Mail Guard on direct Recruitment basis. Probation
period is 2 Years. As per Notification, total no. of posts is 310. Application

Pay Scale for Postman Jobs of Tamilnadu Postal Circle:
Candidates who will be selected for Postman/ Mail Guard
positions, will get monthly salary of Rs.21,700/– to Rs.69,100/- and other
allowances.
Qualification for Tamilnadu Postal Circle Postman:
Qualification must be Matriculation or its equivalent
Qualification from a recognized board.
Age limit:
It is in between 18 years to 27 years. For
SC/ST 5 years, For OBC 3 years, For PH candidates 10 years and PH SC/ST
candidates 15 years of age relaxations are given.
Selection Process for Tamilnadu Postal Circle Postman:
Selection for these vacancies will be held through Aptitude
Test only.
Written Test Pattern:
It consists of four
parts of total marks 100. There will be no negative marking. The duration of
Test will be for 2 hours. Test centers are Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli(Trichy).
Part A - General Knowledge (25 marks with 25 questions)
Part B - Mathematics (25 marks with 25 questions)
Part C (i) - English (25 marks with 25 questions)
Part C (ii) - Tamil (25 marks with 25 questions)
