Age limits for JPSC Combined Civil Services Exam:

For General candidates upper age limit is 35 years.

For SC/ST Male/Female candidate's upper age limit is 40 years

For Female candidates of General, OBC/BC upper age limit is 38 years.

For Male candidates of BC/OBC upper age limit is 37 years

For Jharkhand Information Services lower age limit is 22 years and for Police Services lower age limit is 20 years. For all other services lower age limit is 21 years.
Age limit cut off date is 01-08-2019

Physical Standards for Police Services:

For Male General, OBC/BC candidates Height is 165 cms for others 162 cms

Chest for Male General, OBC/BC candidates Chest is 81 cms and for others 79 cms. 5 cms expansion is compulsory for all.

For Female General, BC/OBC candidates Height is 155 cms for others 152 cms

Educational Qualifications for Jharkhand Civil Services Exam:

For all the posts Degree qualification from a recognized university is mandatory.

Pay Scale:

For planning, Information and Social Security Services pay scale is Rs.9300-34800 with GP of 4800/-

For all other Services  of Jharkhand State is Rs.9300-34800 with GP of 5400/-

Application/Examination Fee for JPSC Civil Services Jobs Recruitment:

For General and OBC/BC candidates application fee is Rs.600/- and for other Rs.150/-

JPSC Civil Services Jobs Selection Process:

Selection for this Jharkhand State Civil Services will be held based on Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination and Personal Interview. For Police Services physical tests will be conducted.

a) General Studies Paper I-200 Marks

b) General Studies Paper II-200 Marks

2. JPSC Civil Services Mains Examination Pattern:

JPSC Mains examination will consist of 6 different papers and there is no optional papers. Each paper exam duration is 3 hours.

Paper I for 100 marks

Paper 2 for 150 Marks

Paper 3-200 Marks

Paper 4-200 Marks

Paper 5-200 Marks
