Qualifications Required for Personal Assistant/Stenographer Posts of Calcutta High Court:

12th Pass and must have knowledge of  shorthand with speed of 120 wpm and 30 wpm type writing.

The candidate age limits in between 18 to 32 years. For SC/ST 5 years of age relaxation are given.

Calcutta High Court Personal Assistant/Stenographer Recruitment Selection Process:

The selection for this Calcutta High Court Recruitment will be based on merit in the typing test.

Typing test will be conducted in two stages.

Stage one in test in Shorthand at the speed of 120 words per minute. The text is to be transcribed in own handwriting within 45 minutes.

Stage two is test in Shorthand, to be followed by direct transcription of the text through the aid of a Computer at the speed of 30 w.p.m.

Those who are shortlisted in stage 1, they are only eligible for the stage two.

Pay Scale for Calcutta P.A./Stenographers Recruitment: 

Pay scale is Rs.7100-37600/- with GP of 3600/-

Examination fees for Calcutta High Court P.A./Stenographer Recruitment-2019:

The candidates have to pay Rs.400/- and for SC/ST Rs.200/- towards application process and exam fees.

The candidates have to pay this amount through Indian Postal Order and drawn in favor of the Registrar General, High Court, Calcutta, and payable at G.P.O. at Calcutta.
