Minimum age limit is 18 years and Upper age limit for OM candidates is 40 years and for RBA/ALC/SLC/ SC/ST 43 years.

For PH candidates age limits are 18-42 years.

After completion of application submission in online e-chalana will be generated.  The candidates have to deposit the amount in the J&K Bank. For General Category Rs. 805 and for others Rs.405/-. J&K bank charges will be Rs.5/-.

Candidates must have uploaded the Latest color pass size photo and signature photo. At the time of applying online must provide the valid email Id and mobile number. The candidates have to send the filled application copy through hand or registered/speed post while mentioning on envelope "Application for Medical Officer".

The candidate has to submit the Application form copy along with the necessary documents and Fee paid challan any one of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission Complex located either at Reshamgarh Colony, Jammu or Solina, Srinagar.

Certificate copies to be attached with the application form:

i. Date of Birth Certificate.

ii. Permanent Resident Certificate.

iii. Educational Qualification Certificate Prescribed for the Post.

iv. Marks certificates of prescribed qualifications.

v. Registration certificate of MBBS

vi. Registration certificate of MS/MD/DNB/MCH/DM/DNB, from concerned Authority, if any.

vii. Registration certificate from MCI in case of Degree obtained from abroad.

viii. Internship certificate.

ix. Valid Category certificate as per SRO 294 dated 21.10.2005 as amended from time to time and read with other relevant SRO’s.

x. For Physically Challenged Candidates, Disability Certificate on the prescribed format.
