Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Examination 2020: The Indian Coast Guard an armed force of India has been invited online applications from the Young and Dynamic Citizens of India for the available posts of Asst. Commandant General Duty, Asst. Commandant
General Duty (Pilots) and Asst. Commandant (Commercial Pilot License-SSA), Law Officers. Online applications only accepted. Selection for this recruitment will be held in two stages. Educational Qualification for Assistant Commandant Recruitment of ICG:

For General Duty and General Duty Pilot Branches

The candidates must have secured 60 % marks in Graduation Degree or Engineering in all semesters or yearly from a recognized university.

Those who are studied 10+2+3 pattern in Maths and Physics they are also eligible to apply for these vacancies,
Must have studied 10+2 in Physics and Mathematics stream with 60% of marks.

For the post Commercial Pilot the candidates must have qualified 12th with 60% of marks and must have a valid Commercial Pilot License.
Those who are studied 10+2+3 pattern in Maths and Physics they are also eligible to apply for these vacancies.

For Technical Mechanical Branch -

Naval architecture or  Marine or Mechanical or Automotive or Industrial and Production or Mechatronics or Metallurgy or Aeronautical or Design or Aerospace.

For Technical Electrical Branch-

Electrical or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Electronics or Electronics and Communication or Instrumentation and Control or  Power Electronics or Power Engg..

For Law Officer-3 Years degree in law after graduation or 5 years degree in Law after 10+2.

Age limits for Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2020:

For the post of Asst Commandant General duty, Technical Branch candidates must have born in between 01.07.1990 to 30.06.1999

For the posts of Asst Commandant General Duty Pilot and Asst Commandant Commercial Pilot posts candidates born in between 01.07.1995 to 30.06.2001
For Law Officer: Born between 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1999 (Both dates inclusive).

Pay Scale for Group A Assistant Commandant of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2020:

Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600- 39100) with Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-.

Selection Procedure for Indian Coast Guard Asst Commandant Recruitment 2020:

Selection for this recruitment will be held in two stages.

1. Preliminary Selection Examination

Preliminary Selection will consist of Mental Ability Test/ Cognitive Aptitude Test and Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT).

2. Final Selection:

Those who are qualified the preliminary selection they are called for final selection.

The Final Selection will consist of Psychological Test, Group Task and Interview (Personality test) followed by Medical Test.

Physical Standards for ICG Asst Commandant Recruitment 2020:

Height. (i) Asst Commandant (GD): 157 cms minimum.

(ii) Asst Commandant (Pilot) and Asst Commandant Commercial Pilot License (CPL) holders for Short Service Appointment (Men/Women): Height Minimum 162.5 cms, leg length minimum 99 cms.

Chest: Minimum 5 cms expansion required.
