Exam Syllabus 2018: Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board issued notification for the 1210 available vacancies in Telangana Police
Department Sub Inspector Jobs. The recruitment will be held in three stages.
Those are Preliminary Written Test, Physical Efficiency Test/Physical
Measurements Test and Final Written Examination. The candidates who are having

Telangana Sub Inspector Prelims/Mains Exam Pattern and Exam Syllabus:
For preliminary written examination questions will be
moderate only. For the same syllabus in Mains paper 1 and Paper 2 questions
will be given as difficulty level.
The candidates who are cleared the Preliminary Examination
they are only eligible for the Physical tests. Those who cleared the physical test
they are called for Final Examination.
Physical efficiency test consist of 125 marks.
Physical Efficiency Test standards for TS SI Recruitment 2018:
For men the candidates must have qualified at least three
events.

A)
Telangana
Police Sub Inspector Prelims Exam Syllabus for Arithmetic & Test of
Reasoning / Mental Ability (Objective Type) (100 Questions).
Arithmetic: Problems relating to number system , compound
interest, simple interest, ratio & proportion, profit
& loss, average percentage, time & work, time &
distance, work & wages, partnership, clocks & calendars, menstruation
etc.
Test of Reasoning: It will consist of both verbal &
non-verbal type and questions will be asked on analogies, spatial
visualization, similarities and differences, spatial orientation, problem
solving, decision making, analysis, judgment, visual memory etc
B) Telangana Police Sub Inspector Prelims Exam Syllabus General Studies (Objective Type) (100 Questions)
1. General
Science - modern developments in science and technology and their implications counting
matters of everyday surveillance and experience, modern issues relating to safety of environment as may be estimated of a well
educated person who has not made a
special study of any scientific discipline.
2.
Current events of nationwide and worldwide.
3.
History of India — importance will be on
broad general sympathetic of the subject in its economic, social,
cultural and political aspects. Indian National Movement.
4.
Geography of India
5.
Indian Polity and Economy — including the
Country's political system, rural development, planning and economic reforms in
India.
6.
Telanjiana Movement and
State Formation - The idea of Telanjiana (1948-1970), Mobilization phase
(1971-1990), towards formation of Telangana State (1991-2014)

Sub Inspector Paper II Final Exam Syllabus:
General Studies (Objective Type) (200 Questions)

including matters of everyday observation and experience, contemporary issues relating to protection of environment as
may be expected of a well educated person
who has not made a special study of any scientific discipline.
2. Current
events of national and international importance.
3.
History of India — emphasis will be on broad
general understanding of the subject in its social, economic, cultural and political
aspects. Indian National Movement.
4.
Geography of India
5.
Indian Polity and Economy — including the
Country's political system, rural development, planning and economic reforms in
India.
6.
Personality test (the questions will be from Ethics,
Sensitivity to Gender and weaker sections, social awareness, Emotional
Intelligence)
7.
Telanjana Movement and State Formation - The idea of
Telangana (1948-1970), Mobilization phase
(1971-1990), towards formation of Telangana State (1991-2014)
Telangana
Police SI Paper III Final Exam Syllabus:
English (Descriptive Type)
The
candidate's understanding of the English language, its correct usage and their writing
ability would be tested. Questions on short essay , comprehension, précis,
letter writing,
paragraph writing / report writing, translation from English to Telugu etc.
would be included.
Telangana
Police SI Paper IV Final Exam Syllabus:
(Descriptive Type)
The
candidates can choose to have one of the languages i.e. , either Telugu or Urdu and
should indicate their choice as and when asked for by the recruiting authority.
Option once exercised will be final and a candidate will not be
allowed to change it subsequently.
TSLPRB Telangana Police SI Paper IV Telugu Final Exam Syllabus:
The
candidate's understanding of the Telugu language, its correct usage and their
writing ability would be tested. Questions on short essay , comprehension,
précis, letter writing, paragraph writing / report writing, translation from
Telugu to English etc. would be included.
