Age limits for HP AHD Veterinary Officer Posts

Candidates applying for Veterinary Officer Post at HP AHD must not exceed the upper age of 45 years as reckoned on 01-01-2018.

Educational Qualifications for HP AHD Veterinary Officer Recruitment  

Candidates interested to join Animal Husbandry Department of Himachal Pradesh as Veterinarian must have passed B.Vsc. & AH from a recognized University/Institution.

Pay Scale

Candidates selected to the post of Veterinary Officer will be appointed on a proposed salary of Rs 15,600/- + 5,400/- GP

Selection Process for HP AHD Veterinary Officer Posts

Candidates who are interested to join Animal Husbandry Department as Veterinary Officer Class-I Gazetted Post will be assessed on the basis of Written Test followed by Interview.

Probationary Period

Selected candidates will be appointed on a contractual basis for a period of 3 years from the date of appointment subject to renewal as per his/her performance.
