Age limits for Punjab PPSC Civil Service Vacancies Recruitment 2020:

As on 01-01-2020 age limits for DSP, DSP Jail posts-21 to 28 years and for all other posts 21-37 years.

5 years of upper age relaxation is given for reserved candidates.

For Ex Serviceman age limits are applicable as per the norms.

Salary for PPSC Civil Service Posts:

Grade II Salary will be applicable for all the posts.

Selection Process for Punjab PSC Recruitment Notification of Civil Service Vacancies:

1. Prelims Exam-400 Marks

2. Mains Exam-1350 Marks

3. Interview-150 Marks

For Civil Service jobs recruitment of PPSC prelims exam will be conducted for 400 marks. Total two papers in Prelims Exam. For each paper exam duration is 2 hours.

Paper 1-100 Questions-200 Marks -2 hours-each question 2 marks

Paper 2-80 Questions-200 Marks -2 hours-each question 2.5 marks

Mains Exam will be conducted for 1350 marks and consists of 7 various papers.

1. Punjabi-100 Marks

2. English-100 Marks

3. Essay Writing (3 Essays & Each Essay)-150 Marks

4. General Studies Paper-I -250 Marks

5. General Studies Paper-II -250 Marks

6. General Studies Paper-III -250 Marks

7. General Studies Paper-IV -250 Marks
