Person who is applying for Navy Sailors Post should have
been born between 01/August/2000 to 31/Jul/2003 (consider both dates).
Academic Qualifications for Navy SSR Posts Recruitment Exam 2019 :
For Sailors AA, SSR Jobs Candidates should possess 10+2 or equivalent exam with
mathematics and physics subjects. Biology, Chemistry & Computers are
optional subjects.
For Stewards, Chefs, Hygienists-Matriculation pass
Selection Criteria for Senior Secondary Recruits(SSR):
Indian Navy Recruits candidates based on their performance
in written test and fitness in medical and physical tests.
Syllabus for written test can available from the website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.
For Physical Fitness
Test (PFT) Candidates should bring their own costumes like shoe and shorts. PFT
will consist running, Push -ups , Squat ups.
Candidates are selected/fit during medical examination will
permitted for further training.
Permanent body tattoos are not acceptable on any other body
parts except on inner face of forearms.
Insurance Cover: Insurance cover (on contribution) of Rs 37.50 lakhs for all sailors is applicable.
Written Exam Pattern and Syllabus for Indian Navy Sailors Jobs Recruitment 2019:
Question paper will be given in Hindi and English languages.Written exam will be conducted for 100 Marks. Total 100 questions will be given.
Questions will be asked from the subjects of
1. English
2. Maths
3. Science
4.General Knowledge
Syllabus will be Intermediate or 10+2 level only.
Exam Duration is one hour.
